Summer layout with Oasis - Crate Paper

Hi there! I am back with my first layout created with the fun Crate Paper Oasis collection. I love this colorful and tropical collection so much, every little pieces reminds me of the hot summer. I mainly start my projects with choosing the papers, but this time it was so hard so I used one of my favourite technique. I cut out a heart background cut file by Inna Moreva with Silhouette Cameo and backed the hearts with different patterned papers. I mixed 12x12 and 6x6 papers depending on their pattern.

During the process I tried to balance the colors and patterns. Even if it looks random, I carefully planned the order of the papers. My idea was to create a colorful cavalcade behind my selfie. Once the background was ready I place it on the neutral Spring Break paper. After this I started to embellish the layout.

First I found the perfect place for the chipboard title. Then, I gathered small embellishments like Puffy Stickers, Buttons and Cardstock Stickers on several places to create the visual triangle.

The left side seemed to be empty, so I added a gold Die-Cut flamingo and a fun camera Chipboard. They are quite big elements but they don’t take away the focus from the photo.

I hope you like my new layout. I am also planning the make a mini album with Oasis collection. I just have to decided which holiday to document. What will you create with Oasis?

Pineapple layout - Hip Kit Club

Hi Girls! For today's scrapbook layout I used the April 2017 Exclusive Hip Kit Club products. First I cut out a pineapple with Silhouette Cameo. This is the April subscriber cut file designed by Kim Watson. You can download it from the website. I decided to place back the cut out pieces to create a 3D effect. I really love the look.

Then I placed my photos. Actually this is one photo (selfie), but I edited and printed out in two pieces. My title is 123 Jump, beacuse the sea is always too cold for me and I count million times before I go under the water. For this I used Vicki Boutin – Watercolor Paper Stickers and HKC Exclusive Alphas.

I also did some fussy cutting. I cut out the atlas from a Project Life card and the swim suites from Crate Paper – Oasis – Sunny Day Paper. I scattered many HKC Exclusive Words and Sequins from April 2017 Project Life Kit. In the end I splashed some aqua watercolor around the page.
